Research Interests
I am a medical sociologist whose research focuses on hearing loss stigma and its consequences for health and well-being across the life course.
Supported by an NIDCD K01 Career Development Award, I lead a program of research aimed at understanding, measuring, and reducing hearing loss stigma to improve health outcomes and advance hearing health equity.
My work spans population-based epidemiology, mixed-methods research, and intervention development, with a particular emphasis on aging, mental health, and health disparities.
